I got back from the Jungle last night. its a very different vibe from the last two visits. This is the first time we have sensed any kind of trouble; people are cold, scared and desperate. The french government plan to demolish the camp by March and have provided enough accommodation for 1,500 of the mostvulnerable. With 4,500 refugees still displaced, tensions are understandably rising.

Welcome to the Jungle project in the Metro

I spent a week in the Calais 'Jungle' last month, working with the refugees, allowing them to tell their own stories through words and photography.  A team effort with Clare Struthers and Miguel Amortegui, we've had a lot of positive press.
